Monthly Mingle: Healthy Family Dinners
Now that they new year has arrived, it’s time to get cracking on some of those resolutions: eat healthier, have more family meals, cook more, eat out less…
What are you waiting for? Grab your kids and search through some of your favorite cookbooks together. Your kids will feel honored that you are asking for their opinion, and will be even more excited to help you in the kitchen. You won’t believe how eager they will be to taste the food that they helped to make!
Please join What’s Cooking and What’s For Lunch Honey in this month’s Monthly Mingle: Healthy Family Dinners.
Here’s how it works:
- Create a dish that fits the theme of Healthy Family Dinners
- Post about it on your blog between now and February 9 (entries must be in English, please).
- Your creation must exclusively be prepared for the current Monthly Mingle theme and cannot be submitted to any other blog event.
- You must provide a link to this post and send the details to me (see below)
- Feel free to use the Monthly Mingle image from this post (it’s pretty, isn’t it?)
Once you’ve posted your dish, send an email with “Monthly Mingle: Healthy Family Dinners” in the subject line to: Michelle (at) whatscooking (dot) info
- your name
- your location
- the name of your blog and its URL
- the name of your dish and a link to the relevant post
- a copy of your best photo of your dish, 200px wide (and compressed so that it is below 1MB!)

Just what I could use… more healthy entrees to cook. Im just hoping it cools off sooner so cooking isnt so miserable.

Great idea! I think I might have a few recipes everyone would enjoy. I’ll definitely send some in, and I’m sure I’ll find some new ones for our little family to try!
