I have used this recipe and the Honey Lemon counterpart with preschool children for years. I first got the recipe in the December, 1979, issue of Sunset magazine. It is the best, and really has a playdough consistency.

Thanks Beth. We have done it twice now and have loved it! Glad the kids enjoyed it :-) In the spring, I have a Honey Lemon version - remind me to post it if I forget!

I made this recipe with my 7 & 4 year olds, it was SO easy and they rolled and cut some, and shaped some also. I would definitely recommend it!
