Thanks, Green Bean! It is so easy to get caught in an Us vs. Them mentality... We just have to keep plugging away at what we feel is important - make a difference the best way we know how :-)

It's really disappointing that people can still think like that but still all too common. Certain members of my own family still don't believe in global warming and one actually asked me "if you are conserving, does that mean I don't have to?". I guess we still have a long way to go.

BTW, found you through Organic Picks. Very interesting post. :)

Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. But one should choose his/her sources carefully. Otherwise that opinion becomes laughable when it is dressed in "critical thinking" and is in fact based on personal ignorance and bias. Sure, ignore the International Panel for Climate Change (IPCC) where 2,000 climate scientists peer-reviewed the global warming evidence. Sure go to the internet and look for her own sources that are far from legitimate, because clearly she is a well-trained climate scientist. Anyway in my humble opinion that approach does her little service other than discrediting her.
